Types of Teller County Court Records

Public Access Framework for Teller County Court Records

Sealed Teller County Court Records
Not every Teller County court record is public. Juvenile court records are governed by the Children's Code and CJD 05-01, so they should not be treated as normal adult lookup records. Adoption records, mental health proceedings, sealed criminal records, financial identifiers, medical details, protected addresses, and minor names can be restricted or redacted.
Colorado Judicial Branch describes sealing as hiding a criminal record from public view while the record still exists for authorized users. The sealed-case search is narrow. It confirms some automatic conviction sealing under C.R.S. 13-3-117 and is only for the defendant. It does not confirm every petition-based sealing or non-conviction sealing category. For a missing or restricted Teller file, the clerk or the record request form may ask for proof of identity, party status, attorney status, or a court order.
